Sunday 24th September

It's now 9.24am. Hannah, Dad and Mum have had their breakfast. Stuart is still in bed - doing crosswords.

Look at the curly hair - looks good now but is going to be hard to brush later on!!!

Sunday 24th September

Yesterday was another lovely day. Hannah went to Laine's house after Jumping Jacks. When Pete turned up to visit he was persuaded to help us turn the spa pool around. We then filled it.

Hannah wasn't told it had been filled as it would have been midnight or later until it was warm enough to get in.

This morning she hopped into bed with us and the motor was going. We asked her what that noise was. She knew it was a motor but took her a long time and lots a guesses before she came up with the spa pool.

Eventually she decided it was the spa pool. Then it was great excitement when she got outside to check and yes there was water in the spa pool and it was WARM. The rain must have filled it up!!!

Panic stations as she was trying to find her togs - "hurry up Dad"

7.20 am Dad and Hannah are in the spa pool!!!

Hannah and Dad

Hannah wanted to play her Candyland game before bed. Here she is playing with her Dad. I think she is beating him at this stage!!!

Visit to Masterton

It was a lovely Sunday - the sun was shining, the sky was blue.

We decided to take a trip to the Wairarapa. Aunty Davinia came with us. First stop was the QEII park for lunch and a play.

Hannah was happy to talk to the ducks and feed them her crusts. Stuart was busy doning Sudoku's so he sat in the car for his lunch.

After lunch it was a walk over to the aivery's to look at the birds. Then back to the playground for a play. It's the most amazing playground. It was built by the community based on an American concept, where they involve the children in the planning, and then the whole community build it in 6 days.

(watch out Uncle Wayne - I'm learning to drive a tractor just like you)

On our way home we called into the Clareville Camping ground which is part of the Clareville A&P Showgrounds. Friends, Mary and Simon, are the caretakers there and live in a house bus.

At the camp grounds there is a lovely lake with trees and bushes around it. The perfect background for photo's. The sun was starting to get lower in the sky so the lighting was great too.

I managed to persuade Stuart (not much persuation required) too let me take photos of him. I got some great shots of him.
